Who we are

Anisia Cakes makes custom cakes in Montreal, Laval and the Lachute and Hawkesbury area. The person in charge of protecting your personal information is the owner of Anisia Cakes. You can reach them at the email address below.

What we collect

When you send a request through the quote form, we receive:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• the date of your event, your city, and whether you want pickup or delivery;
• what you tell us about the cake you’d like;
• the inspiration photos you choose to attach, if any.

We don’t ask for payment details on this website, and we don’t create accounts.

Why we collect it

Only to answer your request: to send you a price and options, to make and deliver your order, and to contact you about it. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

How it’s handled

Your request is sent to us by email. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, and our email is handled by Google, so your request and photos may be processed on servers outside Quebec, including in the United States. These providers only process it to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and photos for as long as we need them to handle your order, and up to 2 years after, in case you order again or have a question. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This website doesn’t use cookies for advertising or tracking.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at the email address below and we’ll answer within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with its date.
