The baker behind the cakes, and how a love of baking turned into Anisia Cakes.
My story
My name is Anisia, and I’ve loved baking for as long as I can remember. Cakes, cupcakes, Christmas cookies, all of it. Whenever someone in my life has a special occasion, I bake something for them.
Then friends of friends started asking for cakes too, and the orders kept coming by word of mouth. That’s when I decided to build this website, so I could share my love of baking with more people.
Today I make custom cakes for birthdays, weddings and every celebration in between. Every one is baked for one person and one party, and I still get excited every time someone sends me their idea.
How I bake
- From scratch, for your order: the layers are baked for your cake, never frozen and thawed.
- Real buttercream: made in my kitchen, with real butter.
- Designed with you: every cake starts from your idea and the photos you send me.
- Decorated by hand: figures, flowers, lettering and all the small details.
Where I bake for
Montreal and Laval, and the Lachute and Hawkesbury area. Pick up your cake, or have it delivered anywhere for a delivery fee.
