Three ways to do a rainbow
- Inside: colourful layers in rainbow order. The cake looks calm until someone cuts it. Then everyone wants the first slice.
- On top: a piped rainbow with fluffy clouds, or rainbow swirls across the top.
- Both: colour outside, colour inside. Why hold back?
Make it yours
- Bright or pastel: bold red to violet, or soft pink, peach, mint and lilac.
- Your own palette: only three colours, or only the party colours. That works too.
- A little theme: unicorns, clouds, stars or a sunny sky to go with the rainbow.
- Words on top: a name, an age or a short message.

Tell us the date, the number of guests and where the rainbow goes: inside, on top or both. Add up to 5 photos of cakes or colours you like. If one colour has to lead the parade, tell us that too. We’ll reply with a quote and a few options.

Can the colours be pastel instead of bright?
Yes. Soft pastels, bold classic colours, or only the colours of your party. Send a photo if you have a shade in mind.
Is a rainbow cake only for kids?
Not at all. Birthdays at any age, a new job, or a plain Tuesday that needs cheering up.
