Mermaid cakes in Montreal
Mermaid tails, seashells and starfish in pink, teal and lilac. Ours swam onto a letter S, and yours can be a number, a letter or a round cake.
What this mermaid cake looked like
A big letter S, covered in rows of piped white swirls. On top: pink and teal mermaid tails, starfish, seashells, little pearls, pale pink macarons and small lilac bars. Every tail, shell and starfish was placed by hand, so each curve of the S looks a little different. The board was white with a pink and teal edge, and the birthday message sat underneath in big pink letters.
Make it theirs
- The colours: pink and teal like ours, ocean blue, or purple and silver.
- The extras: tails, shells, starfish, pearls, macarons. More of one, less of another.
- The board: trimmed to match, with room for a message.
- Treats on the side: cupcakes or cakesicles with shells and tails to match.
What to send us
The date, their name and age, and the colours of the party. Photos of the invitation, the decorations or a mermaid cake they love help us get it right. You can add up to 5. If they love a mermaid from a movie or a book, tell us which one.
Questions
Does a mermaid cake have to be a letter?
Not at all. Ours was an S, the birthday kid's initial. The same tails and shells work just as well on a number or a round cake.
Can you put a mermaid on top?
Send us a picture of the mermaid they love. We'll tell you what we can do and include it in your quote.
Where does the message go?
Anywhere you like. On ours, Happy 8th b-day and the name were written in big pink letters on the board.
